Frequently Asked Questions
What age is best to start?
Many children enjoy balance bike games between ages 3–5. Pedals follow when gliding and steering are solid. We also support late starters and tweens.
Do we need our own bike?
A properly sized bike and helmet are recommended. We provide fit guidance and can loan a balance bike for trial sessions when available.
How long until a child pedals?
Every child is different. Many beginners pedal within 2–4 sessions after consistent balance practice. We never rush or promise timelines.
What happens in bad weather?
We monitor conditions. Light drizzle is okay with appropriate clothing. Thunderstorms, extreme heat, or icy paths trigger rescheduling or indoor skills.
Are your coaches background-checked?
Yes. All coaches pass background checks and complete child-safety training and first-aid basics.
Can parents participate?
Absolutely. We encourage guardians to observe and learn cues to reinforce skills at home. Some classes include guided parent roles.
How are groups formed?
Groups are small and arranged by age and skill. This keeps pacing right and ensures each rider receives individual attention.
What if my child had a previous fall?
We progress gently with trust-building activities and optional one-on-one sessions focused on calm starts and braking control.
